Holding On

This painting was born from of my early morning dog walks around the village.  It was one of those dull days when there was just a hint of sun which caught the copper glow of the last few autumn leaves.  I really enjoyed working the background capturing the muted yellow/grey sky.  I used acrylic ink to give the impression of the trees.  Adding just a touch of copper leaf for the leaves.
