Bluebells, Forgotten Garden

I've always tried to avoid painting Bluebells as they can be a subject that can be overdone but I fell in love with the not only the colour of these spring delights but also the striking shadows cast by a low sun through the trees. The forgotten Garden Lewtrenchard in Devon is a little gem especially during the Bluebell season.
